The suspension definitely wont work at the moment-thats for sure.
I measured the ride height from the middle of the wheels to the wheel arches.
It should be just over 13 inches according to Haynes on a standard Mini-bit different front and rear.
Mine in 11 inches at the at the front. Should be 13 and a bit.
The rear was within spec at just over 13 inches. Is a Cooper a bit lower?
I needs a bit of leveling up, no problem.
I think I shall put the Hi-Los up 2 inches on each side at the front and go from there. I fitted them at the lowest setting.
Maybe it will all change a bit with a few miles, as its all new.
I have no trouble cutting down the bump-stops if need be. Changing the suspension settings is a walk in the park compared to fitting door cards, door handle escutcheons, windscreen seals, sliding windows, door trims and all the little stuff!
At least my air-filter box fits now with the correct manifold in place.
