The late Marc Bolan 1275GT previously posted was Black Tulip (Dark Purple) with an ochre interior and yellow side stripes:-

Earliest use of the side stripes I can find is the 1964 GT40 prototype
and first production car I can find is the 1965 Ford Mustang GT 350
Right that's enough about Fords, back to the GTs

Nice colour - but of course the wrong colour seats (and the width of the basket weave on the rear seat looks odd). Also when did the later type reclining mechanism seats come out? Other than that the grille is wrong, the numberplate lamp should be body colour as should the fuel cap, the steering wheel is a standard clubman item that somebody has painted " metal" inserts on and the rev counter should surely be red lined at 6000 rpm?

Seats are odd because those are Newton replacements, according to the description. Looks like stick on foil on the steering wheel. It's a good starting price though that leaves a bit of room to improve as and when.

I think recliners came in around 76 the first model to have them was the Mini 1000 special editon which was the first special edition Mini
Brooklands green stripey interior and reclining seats
I remember a guy in our village had one of these.

This was my 1275GT in 1985, now long gone. It was a great Mini and build in 1974.

Is there a list of body and mechanical changes for the early GT? They were hydro then dry then 12 inch wheel then single bolt subframe etc etc
I’ve never seen any good articles on this other than Coopers
Cheers

Not much help...but the original Mini Cooper Register forum had a very detailed long running thread on the 1275GT changes over the years but sadly it was all lost when the forum crashed with no back up....unless someone knows different.
