Have a look at the business address, Strawberry Fields…. Wasn’t he same bloke selling a load of log books some time back. Think we assumed it was an ex scrapyard.
I think you are right, didn’t he have a photo of all the cars in the field ?
Its also a B&B
, the mind boggles

It’s the same geezer with “the ex John Lennon” Mini.
‘Mini Cooper S’ printed on a logbook means absolutely jack sh*t without the right chassis number as we all know.

I reckon that’s possibly a late 1071? Speedo is 120 dead and the voltage regulator is mounted on the crossmember instead of on the inner wing.

I think they were Andy.
Got the wrong carbs on it maybe. Aren't they later Mk3 type carbs with breather take offs like that ?
Nice survivor car ..

I think the changes were when hydro came in, so looks right. Those boot board bracket rivets look a bit new but it’s had work on the hinge panel, which might explain it. On the face of it looks like a very nice survivor

It is part of the Anthony Hamilton Collection; he was thinking of selling it a couple of years ago then changed his mind.
The carbs and inlet manifold are MG 1300/1300GT.
The right hand tank is a later addition, not sure what the square patch at the bottom of the tank is for.

Patch looks like an access section or maybe just a rubber buffer of some kind???
Just notice the rear wiper isn't offset but in the centre, and parked to the right. I'd need to double check but I'm ours were always parked to the left???? Maybe fitted before the kits came out???

“Unrestored” is a pretty loose term nowadays for a nearly 60 year old car. Even the most pampered Minis of that age on 60 odd thousand miles driven in the U.K. have usually had a panel or two and a repaint in all that time. The usual exceptions to that rule are being kept in a dry climate for most of their life like MEG was in California. Always really interesting cars like that but VERY optimistic valuation me thinks.

From then same stable as those two: this is absolutely lovely and doesn't look expensive either. A good MGB roadster is a nice thing.
