That photo on the harbour looks like an interesting event! The guy in the seven probably thought he had it in the bag until some bugger rocked up in a bobtail Cooper! :lol:

The picture on the sea front is Odicombe hill climb at Torquay , really steep twisty climb ,done it many times In various Cooper S cars.

The Longbridge photos are bitter sweet. All those people working there, long hours churning out cars that were sold instantly. Imagine the noise of the place.

Now it's a housing estate to be, starter homes filled with Chinese made shit, foreign car on the drive and a World of Tat superstore up the road. :(

My daily hack back in 2003, I'd just arrived at work... it had the full union jack on the roof when I bought it but one of my workmates removed some of the vinyl one day while I was down at Bletchley shunting stone wagons...!
