There's a thread over on Pistoneads called 'Classics dwarfed by moderns' but looking at this pic it's easy to forget just how big the Bentleys and Rollers of the day were compared to most other fare. Interesting that the Vauxhall and MGB both have the new fangled reflective plates on!

That's Broomhill - it has changed very little.

Costafortune wrote:JOF129E was one of my old ones. It was a strange spec 998 Cooper supplied by BMC but had a Mini Minor MA2S4 VIN. It has a 120 mph speedo in the photo. It was possibly a police spec car, no idea. I sold it in 2000.
It had 998 Cooper brakes, engine and gearbox.

If I could get the VIN it'd be possible to see what Gaydon have in the records for it. The bonnet badge is Cooper as well.
Thanks C - it was an odd one definitely, 'plain' interior but with the Cooper speedo, no exterior brightwork round the tops of the doors.... did it have the Morris Cooper badge on the bootlid…?
It was black with a GRP Clubman front on, and very, very rusty. I think I gave 100 quid for it.

Tax disc looks like it says April '67 and the dash top looks like a Raddie job.

That looks like the same car used in the film The Psychopath, the dark haired woman bears a resemblance to Margret Johnston who starred.

Cars do look similar though one has standard (or Cooper) wheels and the other has "S" type. Extra badges on wing and a roof aerial too? Possibly same car upgraded later I suppose?

Didn't spot the wheels so probably not the same.

However, did a bit more digging and found this shot titled:-

Britt Ekland getting her fortune told by the Fortune Teller Mrs. Carmen, May10, 1966.

Image

Note Eklands jacket has the same trim at the cuffs as in the car shot. Does this mean the Radford belonged to the mysterious Mrs Carmen the Fortune Teller?

If it did it means she must have been charging a packet for services rendered!

I've just about run out of ace old Mini pics, how about a dash of West Bromwich's finest Supersonic Velvet instead, parked up somewhere in that London...
PH MK1 INTERCEPTOR.jpg
A few years ago I passed up on a Mk1 Interceptor that just needed the interior finishing off for £12k, I wish I'd had the balls to buy it looking back...

''Take a letter Miss Jones, and mine's a dry Martini while you're at it...'' ;)

One of the press fleet FFs is up for grabs for someone feeling brave, they only built 320 FFs, not many in Mk1 form...

Any further info on this one.

Described as "Prince Charles arriving at Trinity College in his Mini Cooper"

Clearly NOT a Cooper.
