Spotted in a 1981 episode of Minder last night, driven by Terry McCann's stripper girlfriend... vinyl roof, W&P nudge bars and 12'' Wolfies, lovely....

BUGGER!
I thought I was being really clever thinking Denmark for the dealer photo.
But you beat me to it

Id say mid to late 80s for the Duckhams oil can Mini.
2 new looking Mk1 Metros in the background - apparently unregistered would be pre 90s.
The Duckhams mini was at Mini 25 in Donnington I believe.

The new Metros are early facelift on TD tyres so 1985-7. The one neatest is Targa red and a City - I had a C plate one just the same albeit with a rusty wing at 3 years old.

Always liked the look of the white Mk1 Morris Mini driven by James Booth in 'Robbery'...

It's got a Morris Cooper grille but a non Cooper interior...

JOF129E was one of my old ones. It was a strange spec 998 Cooper supplied by BMC but had a Mini Minor MA2S4 VIN. It has a 120 mph speedo in the photo. It was possibly a police spec car, no idea. I sold it in 2000.
It had 998 Cooper brakes, engine and gearbox.
If I could get the VIN it'd be possible to see what Gaydon have in the records for it. The bonnet badge is Cooper as well.

Thanks C - it was an odd one definitely, 'plain' interior but with the Cooper speedo, no exterior brightwork round the tops of the doors.... did it have the Morris Cooper badge on the bootlid…?
