Thing is, it's still just a Mini City. Where do these people get their ideas from.......... oh wait a minute, from all the other looneys selling tarted up junk on Ebay........ fair enough. So let's see, what exactly makes it a Cooper S "recreation" ?. The stick on fuel filler or the repro' alloys ?.
PS. If the seller is on here I apologise, but you should know you are painting a target on your back with this one, just describe it as a nicely restored Mini City (and drop the price by 10k) and it would be fine. Also these plates are now illegal, thankfully DVLA have seen sense and removed the 40 year rolling deal for being able to stick non reflective plates on modern cars.

Andrew the non-reflective plates are only legal on pre January 1st 1975 vehicles so doesn't roll like the historic tax class does. I also agree they look terrible on later cars. In reality most cars '69 onwards would have had reflective plates although it wasn't a legal requirement until '73.
