We used to sell them new at work. Never thought anything of it at the time but nowadays the wheels and tyres look tiny don't they

Interesting that the Petrolicious car has inner wings with the big grommets, a feature of the later clubman I believe, but perhaps these panels were replaced during the restoration.
It still has the access hole in the boot firewall for the spit, discontinued in later cars.
