I saw that 970 being fettled when I was over there a few months ago. They'd just sold a green 1071 for massive money and also had a few other Minis.

Were you there just to have a look around Pete...? I've heard they're a friendly bunch - a mate and I are thinking of nipping over for a sly shuftie (drool) some time....

Derek Hood, JD Classic's boss is a big fan of mini's, as his dad had a 970S I seem to recall.

I was there to look at a car. It's a huge set up bristling with some very noteable historic cars, they were very professional and friendly.

the price for the interior light is a pisstake but even more sadly almost achievable, there was a NOS one ended at £124 the other week, as I need one the same I'm watching ebay for one at the right price, I missed one at £8.50 the other day, it looked grubby but might have cleaned up, others more or less complete have sold up to around £50.

The dash looks like either a copy of a Vortz one, or that someone has been having a go at a Vortz dash with a blunt knife , I suspect it's a copy as I can't see the two upper mounting lugs, that could also be down to the poor photo though
