Abit off Topic. But what the rules on seat belts etc ? As the car i'l be taking this year doesn't have any. Do I need to fit some ?

Yes, all cars MUST have seat belts. Both mine didn't have belts in before last year so I fitted a Speedwell 4 point "racing" harness that they knocked back as unsafe (which it was), & I had to buy a modern one to make do on the day.

tjw89,
Pleased you raised that question.
Is it possible to confirm the type of seat belt that will be accepted, and the sort of seat belt that is not likely to get through?
Cheers

Decent modern competition harnesses, Britax type 3 point 60's harnesses, standard lap & diagonal are all acceptable. Antiquated Speedwell harnesses from the 50's Are not. If it would pass an MOT test it will be fine.

Tim, I have a NOS Britax period 3 point I can lend you, I'll need it back as it's for my 67S though.
