Either that or there will be a lot of folk, including me, stripping their mini's, soaking them in brine, and retiring to Barbados!

Not sure this had been discussed yet, could be a good project, if at right price, shell looks to be priced on high side though.
Obviously some more work required ie, to remove patches on foot well and heel board....cant see photo of front panel, so that probably need changing.
Is it a genuine 63 shell ?
Maybe £ 5k for shell? Plus the value of parts......whats a good restored 63 worth , max, £15k ?

I'm not a great fan of the Heritage 'shell but it would be a far better alternative to that

Hi there!
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Speedwell-Cope ... SwHXxfYijX
While the badge is seems to be a simple sticker, I do not think it is a standard rocker cover and the patina looks like it was coated/sprayed a long time ago. Probably is not Speedwell but could be something else ...
What do you guys think?
Andrew

Did somebody else link to this a while back?
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/284014937174
Am I missing something or was this a lot of car for the money? I realise it's not original but still a nice mk1 to runaround in?

Ha, to be frank, that is exactly what happened to me.
I liked the look of the car (for what it is and clearly isn't) but all that rubbish was a complete turn off so I just looked elsewhere and forgot about it until I saw the sold price.

Didn't mean to increase Google's profits ...

In the light of that, the washer bottle is a steal..Cornwall's most famous gardens, the arrival of a prickly pineapple ...the exotic fruit was harvested at the Lost Gardens of Heligan ...
Including the man hours spent looking after the pineapple, transport costs of manure, maintenance of the pineapple pits and other bits and pieces, each pineapple cost in excess of £1,000.
