It would be a shame to over restore that A good clean and polish and the bonnet painted and it would be lovely.Costafortune wrote: ↑Sun Sep 06, 2020 11:37 amI'd paint the bonnet the right colour, give it a good clean and leave it exactly as it is.
What a lovely thing to own. I bet that makes 10 grand+

Absolutely - they were tinkered with in every way imaginableOld English White wrote: ↑Sun Sep 06, 2020 9:07 am It is a bit of a time-wrp isn't it! Exactly what we all did with our old Minis in the late 1960s/early 1970s and seldom seen now.

I really like that modified 1960. Especially since it's not being passed off as more than it is. Saw a recent resto that was done into something like that at a show last year, it was great. This cleaned up a bit would be a stormer.
Of course I know what a dipstick is, you get called something often enough you look it up!

That modified 1960 car looks absolutely fantastic! A real time warp piece.
However, The "Long Range Fuel Tank" looks less impressive. I have seen Works long range tanks & all the ones I have seen have not looked like that. This doesn't guarantee that it isn't what the seller says it is, but I'd be a lot happier if it looked more like this.
