I wonder. The seller has (or has had in the recent past) a lot of genuine Special Tuning stuff. So who knows?

As well as quite a few incorrect underbonnet details. Lovely car though, and with a beautiful paint finish.

Reading between the lines:
A scrap Mark 1 850 shell worth about 300 quid.
A £40 Heritage Certificate (gold embossed yo) from a VIN plucked from thin air.
A 997 engine.
And the usual Jilly Cooper description for added LoL's.
The current £1021 bid is probably about right.

Why can't people take the time to understand what they're selling?!
Having just sold one - that's a good starting price.

That's not a Mini Speedo. Probably Morris Marina TC. Check the part number and the TPM.

And the 'part number' quoted isn't the part number.#The GT speedo was (I think) 13H**** or ADU**** and were SNT3328/***

13H5898 SNT3328/02; 1275 GT, 1969-70.
13H9350 SNT3328/16 or 16AS; 1275 GT, 1970-74.
13H9418 SNT3328/18S; 1275 GT, 1974-75.
ADU2277 SNT3328/18SA; 1275 GT, 1975-80.
In the picture it does look like 3328/02, which is an early GT

It does look more like an 8 than the 9 he put in the text. Unless the label on the box says different.

To state the bleedin obvious, there's no servo and the chassis number is in the wrong place. Sure others will be able to spot more than me.Andrew1967 wrote: ↑Thu Aug 06, 2020 8:59 pm Anyone know anything about this one ? A mate of mine might be interested if it is a genuine S.

I spotted that but neither makes it not what it purports to be.
Things like that can be corrected.

Top tip - I've got a Maxi gearknob in my car, it's a much cheaper way to con everyone into thinking you've got a 5 speed box
