I always say with a repair bench and a dozer one gets everything straight but in this case I had to admit that the body is lost.

I seem to remember Ponch (Erik Estrada) used to call Jon Bakers (Larry Wilcox) Mini a shoebox!
I wonder if that Mini still exists?

I was slightly envolved with that one.
I'll "think it out" and get back later.

Any further thoughts on the Mini jw?

We serviced the mini at my shop for the guy Larry Wilcox purchased the mini from. I think he worked for Warner Bros. film studio.
The car was painted in dark bronze with a black roof,5 inch Mk. 2 Cosmics,no sunroof or flares. It might have been surf blue/white originally.
It might have had a 1071 in it with a light flywheel as it really revved easily. Also had a 28/36 Dcd Weber and a loud exhaust.
The car was at my shop when Larry and his friend stuntman Bud Davis came to look at it prior to purchase.( Those guys were a lot of fun).
Mike Fennel's body shop probably added the flares, sunroof and paint as they could do that kind work in a day or two.The Benelite grill and driving
lights were on the car prior to LW's purchase.
I think that's about it.
