. I really fancied that. It must have sold immediately 'cos I telephoned him within hours of the ad appearing and it was sold already
Right car, right price I suppose. I'm waiting to see it re-appear on some dealer's website at half as much again.....

Pete, It was £5,500. It looked a very original car from what I could see. The radius arm shrouds were missing and the sills painted black so I guess it had had sills but maybe not much more. Still had the full skirt front panel and had a really "authentic" look about it helped not only by the registration number but even the original plates themselves. COO was an Essex issue I think. I once owned 902 COO by coincidence.
