I had a hard time finding the 1.2mm pistons rings for these std size pistons. At last a set came up on ebay, but I do not like the design of the 4 piece oil control rings. So a second set of pistonrings came into use with the common 3 piece design.

well i do not like those rings what happened to the one piece oil rings they were easy not like these new things :evil:

My Inno cooper from Italy had the same sort of white powdery stuff all over its rear subframe - AND I did come up with the exact same tale of where it came from. Two fools, one thought :lol: :lol:

Apart from that - what a great find, the right attitude to keeping all the period stuff where possible and and deffo my favorite project here :!: :!:

Not much done the last few months, but engine is now in place, and just waiting for ignition, carbs and radiators ;)

Titan 1.3 roller rockers fitted, these came with the car, so must be at least 36 years old now, when did these rockers appear on the market ?
