UKB 8H S&A sprint bought off Mike Kearon in 1970 by Geoff Murray with an 1100 engine. Was meant to go racing but Kearon changed plans and bought a Camaro instead.

Restored in the 90s and sold to Maruyama bling’d up as a Rob Walker racer. The logbook appeared on Ebay some years later and the reg number now seems to be on a Merc.

Awesome car... deaseamed / Stewart & Ardern / Wood & Pickett (twice!)... I think the only things I'd change on it would be the arches and the depth of the front valance...

Can't say that I think the way that was done was easier, more stylish or more practical than Neville's original way.
Looks OK though, apart from how the rad fits. Which is hideous.

One odd thing you see a lot on sprints is they spend all that time reducing the height and trying to keep the scale of the original design so that a really good one looks even better than the original size.... and then bolt a set of massive wheels on it!!
Never understood that.

10's are as big as they should get on a sprint, 6J wide seems to make them look 'squatter', as has been said in various other threads sadly it's probably not the best idea to have a magazine feature done on a car with such extensive body mods anymore
