Shelsley have sent me a number of tickets and camping passes for both Saturday and Sunday if anyone wants to bring a car. I'm planning to take the Unipower (maybe the Radford) down on Saturday afternoon and camping over for the Sunday . Please let me know and I'll post you one off!

I'm loaded up and ready to go, last minute hitch bloody trailer lights playing up, so rigged up a trailer board, wire wasn't long enough, quick dash to halfords to get an extension and they actually had one in stock and that sorted it !
Looking forward to meeting old friends and new alike , really looking forward to the group b stuff , Llewelyn, Brookes and McRae
Just hope KEC behaves himself !!

Good first day, car went better than I could have hoped, 4th out of 13, mustang 1st, then a gorgeous Anglia with a BDG 2nd, and Paul Jones 3rd in his Britax replica, just had half second on me
The group b's were awesome , specially David Llewelyn in the Quattro, simply stunning to see off the line, all 4 wheels spinning , and the Auto Union in Hans Stucks hands was a delight and very emotional to see

Tomorrow's another day ,over 20 in the Class, think it will be a different story !

Going well Steve! That's a good time and that Britax replica weighs as much as a fag packet! Glad you're having a great time!
Gutted I didn't make it down, just didn't work out this year, first one I've missed in about five years.

Manage to get 2 practice runs and a timed run on Sunday before the 4 hour journey home was called for ! ,but got my time down to 41.15, really happy with that, not sure where I finished up yet, in a class of 20, Elans, Healey 3000, some very quick race MGBs, Tim in Brian Dennis's Mini and Mike Gallery flying in his race mini, the new editions to the class , I'm expecting top 10 hopefully
I've one run at 42 seconds to go on you tube from run 1 on Saturday, Tim did some in car too, glorious day again , very hot, never seen so many people at a hillclimb ! , and I have to say it must be well up there in all events I've ever done , purely down to the atmosphere , the crack, and great for the family , mind u the weather really helped ! Ill hopefully be back !!
Couple of links for now knicked off social media !

Cheers Chaps, yeah really love to do it again next year John, be nice to get a few of us there, there was only Tim I knew and that was on Sunday, and yeah i need to order a print of it Rich, its a cracker, and Nick the rumble strips wern't as bad as they looked, i think at this instant it was the only time the wheel touched them, just bounced over them, this was on my quickest run !, with a better head surely ill be in the 39s, but i wasn't lifting at all on Sunday from the start till "bottom S", but with more power i may have had to lift and loose momentum, but that last straight is a power sapper, only just hitting 6000 revs and still in 3rd !
ive got some more pics promised so lets see, we really missed Stu not being there, Tim did some in car and took some pics so hopefully he will post them soon

I was planning on going but then did three auctions earlier in the week and had a load of stuff to catch up with. I might go to Prescott next weekend but I am still busy and need to get my GT ready (not even MoT'd it this year) for Croft Nostalgia, which is the first weekend in August.
