I am starting to suspect that yellow gel coat must have been miles cheaper than any other colour in the 1970's as nearly all mini based kit cars where that colour!

I think there must have been a surplus of grit bins that needed using up.

I cant see a picture of the bonnet hinges properly as they are unique to the 69's
