Mike Wood should have some exclusive and very limited signed copies of a new booklet he's written to sell after his slideshow at Blyton. In the booklet Mike tells the story of the French Alpine rally and the 1965 event in particular when he and Tony Fall won an Alpine Cup in CAK 500C.

The Cadets from 203 Squadron Gainsborough will be helping out to park cars, collect donations etc on Sunday, which I'm very grateful for. However, we could really do with some volunteers to help marshal on Saturday morning if anyone is willing to give up the odd hour or so to help out, please let me know. Ta.

The Marshalling is not to strenuous & is a good chance to see who & what cars are arriving on Saturday. I will certainly be on the gate like last year from early doors, if anyone wants to help please let Pete or me know. We'll give you a high viz jacket & innate feeling of self importance, if you are lucky you may even get a go with one of the walkie talkies.

Any help would be much appreciated.

I think it's Up To 3 drivers per car. 1 booked as a driver, 2 extras at £20 / person on the day.

Have a look at this crappy site map I made and please try and put your vehicles in the approriate areas, we'll marshal on the day anyway but helps to know where everybody is going. I want to try and keep the red area clear please so people can get in and out of the camping area and infield.

Not sure that's a serious question but yes if anyone visiting with mobility problems lets a marshal know on the way in I'm sure we can sort something out. General parking is relatively close anyway .

You will be fine Ian it will take you 2 hours to get near the track with all the cars to look at (plus you have a spare battery )

Live from Blyton exclusive : busy campsite tonight and the thermals are on. Lots of great cars here already. Rich has gone home to powder his nose and The Mini Works contingent have retired to their luxury villa somewhere in Scunthorpe . Simons probably emersed in his hot tub as I type. Nicks sorted his treasure out and Glym Swift is watching telly ,alright for some ! We've also had a tour of Barry Long's ex Ron Dennis motor home. I 'm freezing my tits off in the back of a transit. Hopefully see lots of you tomorrow!
