As surf has posted such good photos I thought I'd share what you can achieve with an iPhone from a long way away, much more in keeping with period non pro photos

Here's some more pictures that can be achieved by an amateur snapper with a factory refurbed mid range DSLR, some second hand lenses and an old lap top with old photo software.











PS A lot of the time I have to wait for the iPhone users to get out of the way.

Would love to know the details of the motor - it revs like a short stroke!

App J rules say the original stroke must be retained and that a bore size of plus .065" is permitted, so I'm guessing it's a 1400 with DC5 etc.

FWiW, there's a specific set of the regs for this heat and the engine is buildt to those rules, not App J, K or whatever.

The old group 5 regulations allowed to alter bore/stroke within the class limits (1300ccm). When regarding the engine compartment, it rather seems to be a group 5 than a 1b. It's not really a rebuild beside the paint.

+65 overbore, standard stroke (crank is free) and 715Kg inc driver pretty much sums it up.
