100% this is correct - when you have a car that's got three cover sills welded on top of each other you are only ever going to get one result
Variations between batches & suppliers seem to create a lot of different sorts of trim. Some is easy to fit some very difficult. I have never (apart from on one occasion) had any problems with the stuff Minispares sell.
