Hi guys and gals,
Here is a two part interview taken with me at a recent Classic Car Race meeting at Teretonga in Southland. This is right at the bottom of the South Island. I hope I haven't made too many glaring factual mistakes that need to be publicly corrected ! The first part of my interview starts about halfway through the first clip.

Thanks Al, great interview and lovely car, I particularly like the Longman rocker cover plate, I live in Christchurch just over half a mile from the old Longman Purewell site and the now old Somerford site.

Al!
Good job, well done on both your interview and that fabulous Mini. Is that the car my gas pedal now resides in?

Hi Chris,
Yeah, sure is. You know, it really looks right in the car and works well too. Thanks again.

I bought what must have been the remains of a complete Longman engine. As well as the rocker cover, there were rockers, head, manifolds and the split Webers. The Christchurch bit confuses folk here though, they naturally think Christchurch, NZ and wonder who this guy Longman is who built my engine !!!
