hi everyone id first like to say this is going to sound a little strange but if you could help me or give me some tips that would be great.
I;ve just recently installed a new 850 engine into my super coming along well but im having some problems bleeding the clutch. i managed to get a little bit of feeling out of the peddle when i adjusted the arm but the screw is quite far out.
when i push the peddle the arm is moving just there feels like there is no pressure on the peddle.
also the gear box was very strange after i managed to get at least some movement in the clutch i tried to move the car forward when i was checking the gears i found out that in reverse gear the gear stick is still able to go upwards! feels like it has a 5th gear.
i was just wondering have i mabe put the gear lever back incorrectly and accidentally put the gear stick in when it was in neutral ?
again sounds weird but i can take a video if it helps
Thank you

Re: Clutch Bleeding and Gearbox
Sounds like lost motion at the bell housing end of the clutch operating lever.
The little ball end is often missed mwhen lubeing.
Some people bend the lever but thats a bit naughty.
You may need to replace the lever and the plinger through the bell housing (which holds the release bearing).
