We can see a mk2, so late 60's or 70's

They're all from the 1970's and taken at Oulton by the looks of it. In the 2nd picture you can see Peter Baldwin in a red and white ex works race Mini that Marshall's ran for him in 1971 ( http://www.mikehaywardcollection.com/pr ... QQuQXxybIU ). The Escort in 2nd place was Dave Mathews, who married Anita Taylor. The green Mini in the last shot looks like Buncombe?

Neal, Rhodes, Spice and Handley all finishing in order, but beaten in class by the Broadspeed Escorts of Craft and Fitzpatrick, i was there that day , I was 7 !, my dads got some old film of the day, try and get it "routed out" !

The bright yellow Mini is the JCB sponsored car of Enever, very competitive 'privateer' entry, you can also see Buncombe's white Mk2 and just about make out Whizzo at the back in KDK.

No. 3 is definitely early 70s probably 72-74. That is Bill (Twiggy) Dryden leading in the SMT Firenza. The car trhey used before building their Chevron Firenza.

I remember seeing the 'Back off Boogaloo' Mini racing.......Ringo Starrs song was in the charts in 1971/2.

Anyone got any pictures of Gerry Hinde? He raced an 'RB Motors' (Rod Blanchard) Gordon Allen short stroke 8 porter in the early 70's with a Vita beam on it. Based around Derby , the car was yellow with a black top half I think.

If I had found a later shell on my quest for a mark 1, I would have loved to do it the later longman green, this looks darker
