In the shed,
I think everyone who reads the forum realise & appreciate that you do not approve of or for that matter understand the prices that some other people are prepared to pay for items that you wouldn't pay tuppence for.
However, taking every opportunity to tell everyone how you bought exactly the same item for next to nothing 20 years ago & how everyone else is mad paying these prices does begin to grate after a while.
I would respectfully ask that from now on, you at least attempt to keep these postings on your favourite subject down to a minimum, if not for your own sanity then for those poor souls like me who have to read the same thing over & over again.
You think a lot of people pay too much for stuff. . . . . . . OK WE GET IT!

Those grilles were cut from another BMC cars grill. I can't remember what it was at the moment though.

Austin Westminster A110 Farina MKII standard saloons were fitted with mesh grills from 1964.

It MUST be a full Downton Engine because they have bought a replica "Downton Badge" from Minispares & put it on the rocker cover

the pillers look to have gone at the tops.
still, at least the seller is honest about the state of it, so fair play to him
