Trying to work out where the photo taken. Obviously abroad, but where? Remarkable number of minis in the photo. I thought of France, but the no. plates are wrong ,there is a Citroen DS across the street. The store across the road is called VEH - I - L? Actually looks a bit USA for period.

There is a remarkable number of BMC cars in the background including an 1950s A40.
...Fascinating pic and yes a number of BMC cars in the pic.. but it looks for sure like a left hand drive country ??! someones gotta know where it it . ??.. I thought Oz or South Africa but it isn't ??!!... foxy52

No Prizes this time.....................Its Finland, I found and downloaded the photo on the internet last night along with a few others, but when I went back for name reference I couldn't find it again!

That will explain the DS then, probably Pauli Toivonen's :P

Also explains the spelling on the buildings.
