Wire loom route

Hello I apologise for the silly questions in advance. 1965 mini minispares mk1 cooper wiring loom. I've sorted the rear loom in the boot however Im struggling with getting the rear loom down the left a pillar. Is this the correct route? Mine will not go and I can see the there is foam in the a piller through a large circular hole on the side of dash. Cheers

Cancel that, did it with a stretched out coat hanger, not fun with fresh paint though!
