dip stick colour

can anyone confirm the dipstick colour in an mk2 cooper s. some photo evidence suggests yellow and some photo evidence suggests engine green. i'm believing green as the factory finish at the moment..

though I did once see a 'authentic' works replica that had one painted bright blue as the owner had misunderstood what 'blued' meant on the original build sheets........ :lol:

the one that came out of my car was that familiar shade of reddish brown too!

the one in this car came with its own tetnus virus spores.....

mark f cut his arm whilst we where extracting it from its 30 year resting place and the car bit him (a-la Christine) and his arm took ages to heal up!


the whole car was covered in a sheen of battery acid and paraquat weedkiller vapour

it was rank


shame really, as a nice dry garage and it would have been a beautiful survivor
