Re: Downton Mini Cooper
It took two and a half years to complete and i have enjoyed every minute.
The final stages went together last week and we were kindly invited by the British Mini club to display it on there stand at the International classic car show at the N.E.C . We had three great days there, met loads of like minded people and on the whole i think the car was well received. A great way to bring a project to a conclusion.
I will try and post the last 5 pics, i hope to get them in order, please excuse me if i cock it up.

TOP job, but one thing I think of.
The steeringwheel looks not so good in this Mini.
Very sorry to say, maybe a Styla or Formula looks better.

Thanks foxy52. The seats are a bespoke order and they are a joint collaboration between Contour and Aldridge trimming.

Re: Downton Mini Cooper
Thanks URH850. I appreciate your comment regarding the steering wheel. I was going to fit a Leston steering wheel but find a bit large for my liking. I am about to have the original wheel refurbished and have fitted the moto-lita has it is a period accessory and i have the matching gear knob, and it all kind of works with the rokee dash.

That looks absolutely amazing,I'll bet you're over the moon with the finished result.Love the polished Maniflow as well, you could throw them at the car from the other side of the garage and the fit would be spot on.
