Headlamp rims.

Hi..

Does anyone knows if there's a difference on the original headlamp rims. Or are They all the same?

Was told that it was written in a lucas list that a rim i was looking at will fit a mini 850 from 60-62?

I have read about one change. The type with the rivet (holding a locating lug) at the top stopped in early '66 (maybe with the sealed beam change) and from then on, the type with the fake rivet was used.

I thought about that too 66S, but as I couldn't remember when they went to the fake rivet I didn't post yesterday.

Be careful if you buy a repro..

I bought a headlamp rim pair for my mk1,

I tried to fit about 2 hours and finally I made a scratch on the paint..

I put it in the garbage and I bought 2 used headlamp rims, I fitted it within 3 minutes!

A couple of years ago, maybe ten ( ) you could buy aluminium headlamp rims. Are these still available somewhere?
I've only got a couple.

Theese are original. And can see the pin on the top of it. So there should be no problem with theese??

Are there normalt a bracket inside the rim. ( on top ) for a mini. or can the type
Without also be used??
