BLYTON 2015 Make a note in your Diaries!
Yes it's official!
It's Sat 2nd and Sunday 3rd May 2015, though as suggested we will have the option to camp over on the evening of Friday 1st, and in fact Sat and Sunday nights too.
As a two day event we will be using the two different track layouts to make life more interesting! The one we used last year is considerably less challenging than the new one but we'll clarify which day we're using which circuit very soon.
The booking line opens early November.
Watch the thread in the "ACTION DAYS" section for more info.

Quick question/suggestion, will it be possible to book just one day of track driving?

Sorry for the possible stupid question,
Is that an event that we can come to and not drive etc? or is it really like a race/track day weekend?
Thanks,
Lewis

Not a stupid question at all, all visitors are very welcome. Admission on the day will be by voluntary donation to (a soon to be announced) charity and though we don't 'do' concourse all visiting Minis are parked together and will be judged for awards and prizes on the day. Our specially selected trade section will be bigger next year also.Luigi64 wrote:Sorry for the possible stupid question,

Perfect, I will make a note for me and the unrestored cooper to make a trip down to watch you all in action. It's my birthday weekend too!

Blytons already looking like it will be over subcribed, it will have to be run like the Goodwood Members Meeting now, those who had track time last year invited first, then those who have their name on a list who have shown interst, then select individuals and organisations

Re: BLYTON 2015 Make a note in your Diaries!
As Pete has said, like last year ALL comers will be welcome, not just those who have booked track time. Running over 2 days with 2 track layouts hopefully increases the number of places available, but also gives those super keenies the chance to try 2 different circuits.
Lots more info to follow.

Re: BLYTON 2015 Make a note in your Diaries!
Booking won't open until November. We'll announce all details then. There may well be 60 track spaces available per day (we had 55 last time and we didn't get any queues at all!) and obviously you can take both days if you wish. We've got to talk to javelin about getting the price down due to our tendency to book and pay up front, plus the numbers we're bringing and maybe a two day discount.Mini4Ever wrote:Fabulous! Where can I book
If anyone's got any ideas , fire away but from the feedback we had last time you don't want it to change much at all, and neither do we!
