Unipower GT

Post by wil_h »

I should probably introduce myself to people who don't know me. I have never and will never own a Mk1 mini, but Mark and Rich are slowly educating me on Mini history. the earliest I've owned is a '77 1275GT. But generally all my minis have been mid to late '80.

My current passion is GRP mini based kit cars, I have a Sabre Sprint (has posted pictures of it broken at Le Mans) and a Nimbus Coupe.

So to the title of the post. Ta Daa, if anyone has a few quid spare.

After looking through the site I see this subject has already been discussed at length, oops.

Still, lying in bed last night thinking about inlet trumpets amongst other things I realised that you could buy all the Nimbus coupes ever produced (at current going rate) or either all the Sabre Sprints or 30% of them depending on how many were actually made.

Hi Wil,

Good to see you finally posting on here.

For anyone who doesn't know Wil is also a bit of a Turbo Guru, having amongst his collection of GRP monsters a very nice Hillclimbing 998 Clubman that has something like 150bhp!

Wil has spent a lot of time & effort getting his Clubman down to the sort of weight an early MK1 left the factory, maybe one day it will get re shelled into a MK1 one
