Good grief, another auto test special?
I don't think it's 'MoBi-One' - Morris Bishop's crazy creation, which 'could virtually park on a postage stamp' and won the championship a few year's in a row.
But it certainly looks to be inspired by that.

the obi-one-mi-obe was road registered as well, so it would be a more valuable car as well.

I must admit, I had to look through my files as I was 50/50 that it might have been it!

its the price of a secondhand s motor, so I guess someone will buy it just for that and throw the rest away, but what use is it really

That's one ugly s.o.b but the seller has had tons of interest apparently and like Rich says I suspect it'll sell quick and the engine will be hoisted out by the end of the week! It'd only really have any more value if it had a story behind it, and you never know it just could have. As an exercise in 4 wheel steering it makes some sense but the S lump leads me to think it's a trials car?

I asked Morris Bishop if he knew about this one, but it does't ring a bell with him.
He says there were many copies around at the time!
