Speedwell wheel centres
Does anybody supply Speedwell wheel centres? The ones I can find on e bay are yellow and black. Not really my cup of tea and would prefer same type in silver or silver/black. I have seen them somewhere but cant recall for the life of me whereabouts. Cheers. Mark

Re: Speedwell wheel centres
I'm not aware of anyone who does accurate repros. I think I can find a good image of my originals, if you want to get some made. They were only flat, Nickel plated brass with the Speedwell logo etched in. They were then glued to the wheel.

Re: Speedwell wheel centres
hi yes , i purchased some repro wheel centres off a bloke who goes to bullee. He had them made up at great expence for his speedwells on his own car and plenty as spare . I got a set off him last year . Sorry aint got is number but can recall he was there last year in a immaculate F plate 1275 mk 1 s , green in colour . He had a gearbox issue with it so didnt enter it for the concours . This may be enough information to jog someones mind who knows the bloke . If ya dont get hold of him i can lend ya one to get copied or at least give ya a good idear what there like . Im in wickford rolllsboy so not to far away from ya

Re: Speedwell wheel centres
Hi guys,
I sent him en email already.
And here are some pictures.
I am leaving them with a bit of depth so enamel paint can be applied to give it a different finish.
They are the closest I could make to the original ones.

Re: Speedwell wheel centres
Bit of a thread revival here, but I am extremely interested in purchasing a set of the Speedwell named centres - any one still making them?
