I made some stickers for the van, I copied some original stickers that I had in an old travel album from the early 60s.

Hi James, great stickers.

Best you have some awesome stories of your travels to France and Switzerland in the Countryman back in the 60's! :P

When I was at uni (some considerable time ago  ) I answered an ad from a guy selling old autosport and motorsport mags. They were mint! I think he was desposing of the collection of a deceased relative who was seriously into motorsport of the 60's (I got a few other amazing items from him too). It looked like this chap had always bought 2 copies - one to read and the other to carefully store in his collection. As a result they where complete with ALL of the inserts such as subscription cards and window stickers of all the major race meetings of the period, as well as application cards for 60's car clubs and the like. As I say these where in as bought condition - amazing really.

I still have the complete set of Motorsport of the 60's and (I think) complete Autosport sets from '64, '65, '66 and '67.

I also have a very fine collection of the stickers and other inserts - which I'll try to scan and post up here soon. 8-)

Here is an Odd Rod trading card/sticker from my collection by the Donruss Company from 1969.
I've no idea of they were ever sold in the UK, but they were very popular in the States. Many various cars/bikes etc. were depicted all driven by fantastic monster figures.
