Hello guys!!

My lovely mk1 is finished !!

But I didn't managed to find a seat cover, mine has a little hole

I don't want to buy a new one at newton commercial, I prefer it vintage,

I would like to find someone that could repair it or maybe one of you has one to sell?

I tried every trim shop here but nobody want to repair welded skai..

Thank you

Charles

First, Your car looks great!

Second, regarding your little hole.

I think you will strugle to find anyone who will repair it, as you have already discovered as it is welded.

Second, that Tan is a pretty unpopular colour & i reckon if you were to post a WANTED add in the wanted section, you would probably fiond someone who had a tan seat or at least a tan seat cover to sell.

Dear Mark,

I cant replace the "strip" according to every trim shop,

I already posted a wanted add.. but no response,

It could be easier to buy a brand new seat cover but I restored the car as "vintage"car I hate brand new trim, it doesn''t have the same fragrance and look..

I also tried on ebay but I never found any tan seat cover or the over patern..

Do you know someone that could selle it to me?

His price will be my price!

Hi, I'm afraid I don't know anyone with a Tan interior to sell, but Nick Rogers @ min-e-bitz would be a good start.
