Oulton Park Gold Cup August Bank Holiday weekend

Free entrance for one driver of a Mini closes 6th August, Please see below.
The Oulton Park Gold Cup will once again take place on August bank holiday weekend and it returns with an amazing racing line up featuring Super Touring Car Trophy, the Derek Bell Trophy, Historic Road Sports and much more. Away from the track, a large military display with vehicles, tanks and a Spitfire will feature, fire breathing Group B rally cars will take to the special stage, air displays will thrill from the sky and as always, a huge collection of special cars will take over every inch of our infield, this and loads more family entertainment will make this years’ Gold Cup an event to remember (please visit http://www.oultonparkgoldcup.co.uk/ for more information).

Our members/friends/guests will be entitled to park in our special Mini display area and will receive free entry for the driver with the Mini over the weekend (please note that passengers will need to purchase tickets through the website, http://www.oultonpark.co.uk/, or at the gate for entry, children under 13 go free).
The MCR Lancashire Region will be holding a display area for just Mondays main race day unless large numbers wish to do Sunday as well.

You must have sent us by the 6th August your Full name, address, phone number and email plus your vehicles details including its registration number and which day/days you will be attending to the following email by the 6th August

Historic Touring cars are racing on Monday only, so that's when I'll be going.

The only information I have is either on here already or on the site, for those who have sent me the emails I will contact you as soon as I get home from IMM. Tickets will be sent out as soon as we get them, hence the need for details

The HSCC entry form gives a clue as to when the races for each class take place. As the entries close next Friday I guess they will post details of the entries and the time table early on in the following week.

Remember that entry is free for the driver of one classic Mini (or suitable equivalent) will get a free weekend pass, the display stand will be open to anyone who wishes to show. Last chance to get your free tickets for the driver of any classic Mini (or similar) for the weekend, just do the days you want to, you can always get a free ticket and then not go. Entry closes Thursday night. Main race is Monday, had quite a few people going now so should be a very good display.

New MINIs are allowed under the one ticket free for the driver.

Hate to throw a spanner in here John but I suspect pretty strongly that they're not (they've certainly always had a pre '80's cut off since I've been going). It's a historic race meeting/classic car show and I seem to remember the Jag lot brought a load of new cars one year on free tickets ,against Oulton's advice, and got an earful (and I seem to remember a ban!).

I'd check with Oulton first.

The GT stuff's on the Sunday unfortunately but as a bonus there appear to be two saloon races on Monday? Also I hear there's WW2 tanks and other military vehicles on display to mark the venue's pre motor racing roots.
