Uploading images as attachments.
Revision 1 – After forum update

Post a message.

1) Click on “NEW TOPIC”
Top left hand corner above the list of topics currently running.

2) Add a subject in the “SUBJECT” Box.

3) Type your message in the large white box. You can format your message using the tools above the box, for example you can add add bold or italic type, by highlighting the text & hitting the requisite button.

Add an image.

4) To add an image. Scroll down the page to the light blue section below the text box & click on “ATTACHMENTS”

5) Click “ADD FILE”

6) Select the image you want to add & click “OPEN”.

7) Add a comment or description in the box entitled “FILE COMMENT” if you want to do so.

8) Click “SUBMIT”

NOTE!
Any images added MUST be below 512k in size & a maximum of 900 pixels wide.


You can edit your photos on your own PC using a picture editor or you can do it on line for free using a service like https://picresize.com/

Adding pictures to your post is QUICK & VERY EASY. Try it a couple of times & find out just how easy it is!

The drawback with using the hosting on the site is that it will inevitably take up server space on the forum account. Not a problem in the short term, but in the future it will inevitably push hosting costs up again. I would urge folks to use their own hosting wherever possible, but as a fall back for those people who can't do this the above method is a perfectly valid option.
