I had a vermillion mini and it was a lot lighter. That looks like a "dirty" shade as the old colour charts used to put it

Doesn't look orangey enough for the vermillion I remember mums metro being!

The shade looks much more modern. Is it a 90's rover colour perhaps?
I've got a 69 Mini with a 1046, Cooper Head and a four on the floor.

My colour program come up with vermillon being a current colour in and around 1983.

I thought it looked a bit like Blaze, back to the drawing board lol.

I will have a look and see if I can mix cinnabar tomorrow, I might end up having to get it mapped.

But that doesn't help with getting it back to customer, for Thursday morning lol

Welcome :) ................... I dont think it is Pimento, thats quite and old colour, this mini has not been colour changed it is all the same colour inside and out, thought the inside does look much brighter and sharper.

I am thinking this is a paint mix somone has flung together, and repainted it.

The picture looks slightly off, but if its the original colour inside its probably cinnabar red.

It's got fixed 1/4 windows, it might be a 1983 city or sprite originally. Google ' 1983 mini city or sprite ' images.
