The Missing Mini Links - Sep 2014 Miniworld

Post by mab01uk »

Very interesting article on 'The Missing Mini Links' in the Sep 2014 issue of Miniworld magazine by Bill Bell and Rainier de Klark (Nick Belton's '59 Mini on the cover).
Much painstaking research has shed new light on ten mysterious Mini prototypes.....

eg. spot the unusual door hinges and quarterlight door window on this prototype in the video below at 12.50

Lots more fascinating info and photos in the 8-page MW article.
Well done Bill and Rainier ! 8-)

Thank you Martin, much appreciated

There's about 18 month work in that. Believe it or not that's the abridged version. ;)

Thank you Michel

We intend to publish the whole thing on the website in due course.

Rainier (on the left) flew over from Sweden last year especially to meet John Sheppard and so we could present our findings to him to get his thoughts on the subject.

Bob Robbins standing behind Kay was one of John junior Draftsmen on ADO15.

I got an electronic copy of the last Mini World for your article.

I can't wait to read the full one ...

Thank you Bill.
