What is the early mk1 mini choke cable supposed to look like? I presume it's the 'C' (or is it 'CHOKE'?) non-locking version, i've gathered. However, what's thrown me off, is i cannot find any close up pictures of the 'original' knob - (Not that i actually know what it specifically looks like)
This is because what i have on the car currently is a bakelite one which is exactly the same size and profile as the rheostat knob, and simply has 'C' in the original typeface. BUT i have a feeling because there is a larger visible flange on the chrome where the knob sits against when it is fully in, that it is perhaps from a moggy minor? (I can find plenty of pictures of a morris minor one, surprise surprise!

The reproduction one's i have seen, although slightly differ dependant on seller, appear to have a larger knob face than the heater rheostat knob? (And also a different side profile) Now, i just can't believe that they would have been odd? Just to clear up, my rheostat knob is definitely genuine and original.
Because my cable is past the point of no return, i really would like to purchase a genuine one NOS or used isn't really a massive deal. Another option, is there a bakelite reproduction that actually does it justice? (Who am i kidding, everything's made in crap plastic now?!)

Hope somebody here could help with some pictures perhaps? I've checked the 1959 mini register and couldn't quite see close enough to gather enough detail...
Thank you very much in advance,

Thom
