I have researched this quite a lot during the past 2 days & I have found that Snapdragon was used from 1976-1987, http://forums.mg-rover.org/archive/inde ... 89950.html & further to my comment about Inca Yellow not being around pre 1984 I have an aerosol can at home which says Inca yellow on it, but it is in fact the very pale yellow which appeared on Mayfairs in the early 80's, so I obviously assumed that it was truly Inca yellow. No wonder things get confused
Chalkie, I'm pleased that you've now decided on the yellow to use, your Mini looks good, I hope the restoration goes really well.

I would say that that link is incorrect as Inca was available up to the end of Allegro 2 production and Snapdragon was first available on the Allegro 3, which was introduced at the end of 1979. Smiiffys Mini must have been one of the first to be painted in Snapdragon.

I wish it would go well Gotta put full boot floor, rear seat bulk head, floors, heel board, inner wings, front panel, valance, boot lid, bonnet & wings

Sounds like you have some work to do, Chalkie, at least when it's done you know the car is sound & will last you for many years. I don't mind doing stuff like that, the problem is the old enemy, lack of time.
Obviously it's your car and you should paint it whatever colour you like but in my experience of working for a BL dealer in the 1970s a "T" reg car would have been Inca Yellow originally. The pictures you've posted of your car all look different but the last one is a good likeness to Inca I would say.
Good luck with the restoration - I'm sure it will look great whichever colour you choose!
One word of warning though - we carried out a lot of paint rectification on cars at that time and Inca was available in many variant shades and was very difficult to match as I recall .
