I came across this forum when I was looking for a MK1 Mini, and Recently I have managed to get one. Ive had Minis when I was younger, and one a few years back, but none this old.
Mine is a 1962 Austin Mini, Its got an MOT so I'm going to drive until winter, then I'm going to start work on it as its not in the greatest condition...... its already caused me a few headaches and its going to be a steep learning curve, but I'm looking forward to it.

Welcome Ian, make sure come and say hello (Mini Cooper Register stand) at the Manchester Classic Car show in September if you go ! Nice to hear of another Mk1 in the area, there's not too many about these parts!
