This came up on another forum but thought it may be of interest to others......
If anyone has any good ideas for interesting questions to ask the DVLA about say early Mini's it seems fairly straightforward to ask, as some others have done (see below) under the FOA Act?
If you want to know anything from the DVLA (or other UK public authorities) you can submit a Freedom of Information request here:
By law they have to respond and it is quite common to ask the numbers of surviving models of classic cars, etc.

I would think you could double or treble the 'cars left' number on DVLA records allowing for the cars which are neither taxed or sorned.

If you type into Google ( how many left ) a website will come up which does a similar thing to what you are describing in this topic.
