Hi all
Not been here for a while, so apologies for that
Think it must be a good couple of years!
I wonder if any of you saw my car on 'for the love of cars', mine was the white cooper he drove on the snake pass.
Anyway I have a question, I havea an Austin mk 1 wavey grille, but it is made of aluminium and is very light. Which model is it off and why did they make it in ally?
All the best John.

Re: Hi all
the wavey Austin was always made from alloy
its because they where a lesser car than the superior morris model, so the stuff they made them from was cheaper.............
{spurious fact, may not be true!)
