SLIGHT CHANGE TO FORUM PERMISSIONS. (Please read)

Post by mk1 »

I have made a slight change to the way forum permissions work.

From now on, when members newly register to the forum they will not be get full forum access until they have made 5 posts.

This means that they will be able to see & post in all sections, but won't be able to send or receive e-mails, PM's or add attachments to their posts.

Once a Newly Registered Member has made that magic 5 posts their full permissions will come into being automatically.

I am sorry about this small change, but I have done it to try and protect (to a very small extent) all members from potential hazards from scammers.

Good idea Mark,.. its evident that one or two new posters crop up and soon vanish after posting stuff for sale !!!...never to be heard of again... ?! foxy52

So did the guy selling the 185 head and S block on here recently turn out to be a scam? Anyone?
