If I may make a suggestion. Simply use someone you know in the UK as the 'addressee' ie. Your name c/o your UK friends address and make that your primary shipping address. It's worked for me and then you can bid as you wish. Often, after winning, you can also contact the seller and have them ship to wherever you are anyway if they are agreeable.

Everyone,

Thanks for volunteering to help me with my past purchase. I changed my shipping address to a UK address (as suggested) and I won the auction. I paid a little more than I wanted to but the Speedwell guage completes my 3 gauge cluster. The seller is sending the part to the US verses having to ship it to Nick Rogers house.
