The event was assisted by Minis In Northern Ireland (M.I.N.I.) and actually began on the evening of Friday 9th with a forum discussing the rally wins and general rallying in Northern Ireland during the 1960s. The panel at this very informative and fun evening was Mervyn Johnston, Anna McCartney (Ronnie McCartney's wife), Cathal Curley, Beattie Crawford and Terry Harryman.
Saturday's event had 50 Rally Prepared Minis on display is to commemorate the late Ronnie McCartney on winning the 1964 Circuit Of Ireland in his Mini Cooper S and Mervyn Johnston for winning the 1964 Touring Class Section of the event also in his Mini Cooper. And there was also another display section for all other Mini makes and models.
In addition the 50 rally Minis opened the event with a demonstration parade on the rally stage through the Loughgall County Park.
This was a very enjoyable event, as it is on other years and drew in great crowds.
