I had the privilege of visiting this collection last month and can confirm that it is truly outstanding. As well as all the Jags and Bentleys there are large numbers of woody versions of rare cars. Among the Minis are several Cooper S's, none of which is exceptional or stunningly original. There were 2 tartan red travellers where the photo now shows just one. One nice rare car was a W&P hatchback. We spent several hours there having a guided tour with Dr Hull's main restorer. The only rule was 'No photos' which we obviously respected. The cars are packed so close together that it needs real care to walk through the barns. Many of them, especially the Jags, are in concours condition. He also has a barn full of vehicles awaiting restoration which includes 5 Morris Minor Millions. A most eclectic car collection, it's sad that he needs to sell it due to ill health.

In another way it's good when private collections like this are sold off as people then get to use them and see them around with all different owners, what they were made for really. The W&P hatch sounds interesting!
